This week we explore how to live a life aligned with God’s vision—not just in the short term, but for a lifetime. Using the imagery of the trowel and the sword, we’re challenged to both build God’s vision and defend it against opposition. Drawing from the story of Nehemiah, we look not just at leaders like Nehemiah, but at everyday people like Hananiah—faithful followers who stepped up to build. We dive into how to discern God’s vision, embrace it, and stay faithful even when it gets hard. Whether you’re picking up the trowel to serve or the sword to stand strong, this episode will equip and inspire you to keep building.

This week we explore 2 Corinthians 12:6–10 and the profound truth that God's grace is not just a gift—it is enough. Even in our weakness, hardship, or unanswered prayers, His grace sustains, empowers, and matures us. Learn how God’s strength is made perfect in our limitations, how grace carries us through trials, and how true contentment is found not in changing our circumstances, but in trusting God through them.

This week we talk about how God’s mercy is powerful enough to save even the worst sinners, as shown through Paul’s transformation from a blasphemer and persecutor to a faithful servant. We unpack how this promise offers encouragement, hope, and a challenge to receive mercy, extend it to others, and trust that no one is beyond redemption.

Today, we explored how God's promises provide everything we need to live a godly life. We looked at the passage from 2 Peter 1:3-4, which reminds us that through God's promises, we can escape the corruption in the world and participate in the divine nature. We also discussed how these promises are meant to transform our hearts and minds, so that we can live out our faith in practical ways that reflect Christ’s love and power.

This week we find ourselves in the Garden of Gethsemane witnessing Peter acting outside the will of God. Jesus on the other hand surrendered to the Fathers will. Like Peter, we can find ourselves acting outside God's will without ever understanding what it is. In this sermon we will see the blessing of trusting and obeying the Fathers will.

God tests us—not to fail us, but to form us. Through success, failure, and everything in between, His tests reveal what we believe, who we trust, and where our eyes are fixed. Like Peter on the water, the test is never just about the storm—it's about learning to walk by faith, even when we sink.

This week we look at the ups and downs of Peter’s life; from his great confession that Jesus is the Son of the Living God, to his denials of Jesus. Our highs and lows in life don’t define us. How we ‘end’ our journey is more important than how we start. Peter started with the strength of a Jewish commercial fisherman and loads of human passion behind that. He ended in humble obedience, painfully but peacefully aware of his failures, yet fully committed to the Gospel and its King! Like Peter, we too can learn to navigate the highs and lows as we depend on the Lords’ grace and mercy.

In this sermon from the That’s in the Bible?! series, Sam Meredith explores the story of Jesus healing a blind man using mud (John 9), emphasizing that brokenness and suffering are part of a fallen world but can reveal God's power and purpose. He highlights that while not all suffering is the result of personal sin, it presents an opportunity for God’s glory to be displayed. The message challenges believers to respond to Jesus with humility, obedience, and faith—trusting in His methods and timing for healing—and to share their testimony regardless of skepticism or rejection. Ultimately, true faith is seen in action, and our role is to stay faithful and point others to Christ, the light of the world.
