Using the imagery of the trowel and the sword, we’re challenged to both build God’s vision and defend it against opposition. Drawing from the story of Nehemiah, we look not just at leaders like Nehemiah, but at everyday people like Hananiah—faithful followers who stepped up to build. We dive into how to discern God’s vision, embrace it, and stay faithful even when it gets hard. This week we talk about how God’s mercy is powerful enough to save even the worst sinners, as shown through Paul’s transformation from a blasphemer and persecutor to a faithful servant.We unpack how this promise offers encouragement, hope, and a challenge to receive mercy, extend it to others, and trust that no one is beyond redemption.

Today, we explored how God's promises provide everything we need to live a godly life. We looked at the passage from 2 Peter 1:3-4, which reminds us that through God's promises, we can escape the corruption in the world and participate in the divine nature. We also discussed how these promises are meant to transform our hearts and minds, so that we can live out our faith in practical ways that reflect Christ’s love and power.

After all the ups and downs and denials of Peter, we witness Jesus meet Peter where he is. Jesus restores Peter to his calling and ministry. This week we learn how failure isn't final in God's eyes.
